Winnipeg Humane Society welcomes CEO Javier Schwersensky

WINNIPEG, June 8 –The Board of Directors of The Winnipeg Humane Society (WHS) are pleased to announce tJavier Schwersensky, WHS CEOhat Javier Schwersensky has joined the WHS as Chief Executive Officer. Schwersensky joins the WHS with more than 15 years of executive experience, in both for-profit and non-profit organizations.

“The staff and volunteers involved with the Winnipeg Humane Society have a passion for animals and a genuine desire to help them,” said Schwersensky. “I’m excited to join this team and work together to better the lives of animals in our community.”

Schwersensky served as Director of Marketing, Sales and Programs at the Manitoba Museum for eight years, where he was instrumental in several award-winning campaigns. He departs the Museum as Deputy Executive Director. He previously worked in marketing and sales at Pollard Banknote. Schwersensky studied communications at the University of Buenos Aires, and received his Masters in Corporate Communications at the Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales in Buenos Aires.
