Introducing a new way to support your Winnipeg Humane Society

Every year, your Winnipeg Humane Society treats and rescues over 7,000 pets, assists over 7,000 pet owners with spay/neuter surgeries and supports over 40 local animal rescues. And all of this is possible with the support of an incredible community. We exist because of people like YOU.

Today, we are proud to announce a new initiative based on this spirit of community: The Winnipeg Humane Society Employee Giving Program. 

The idea is simple: Companies big and small can sign-up, from small businesses to large corporations. Staff can then choose to make a contribution to the Winnipeg Humane Society with every paycheck, from one dollar to any amount you’d like to contribute. Companies can match those gifts or not. It is flexible, open, and simple. We welcome everyone and we will be extremely humbled and grateful for the support.

And what is truly exciting…we will bring pets to your workplace! Our dogs and cat ambassadors are ready to wag, purr and show how love and compassion can save thousands of unwanted or mistreated animals every year.

-Saving as many pets as we can; constantly reducing euthanasia rates.
-Giving each and every pet coming to our shelter a chance to find a new forever home
-Providing low-cost spay and neuter surgery for those who can’t otherwise afford it
-To assisting as many local rescues as possible in their efforts to save animals and to do spay and neuter and vaccination clinics in rural areas and in First Nations territory
-To being a respected and respectful voice for the humane treatment of all animals (pets, farm animals, exotics, and any other sentient being)
