Kids Give Back 2020

This holiday season, your family can help other family’s animals during the pandemic. With such uncertainty in our economy, many facing layoffs or job losses during this unprecedented time.

It is a time when Winnipeggers as we do can come together as a community to give back and help each other. It is an opportunity for kids to engage in an activity of kindness. We are kindly inviting household families to put together a holiday wrapped pet shoe box which might include donations of toys, pet food, and treats for cat, dog, or critter. Please wrap the pet shoe box, so that it can be opened, and clearly identify with a label (cat, dog, critter). WHS volunteers will deliver pet shoe boxes to community partners for distribution to those in need.

Register to drop off a Holiday Outreach Pet Shoe Box at a special curbside day manned by WHS volunteers. As our thanks to kids, the first 150 boxes dropped off will receive a special holiday take home activity. Register for curbside drop off on December 6, 2020 here.
