You Kahn Help Him!
Kahn came into the WHS with some serious urinary tract issues which caused him a lot of pain and discomfort. Our incredible medical staff worked fast to solve the problem and Kahn is now healthy and has recently been adopted.
Our incredible medical staff performed a Perineal Urethrostomy (PU) surgery. During the procedure, the penis is removed and the larger diameter urethra that is closer to the bladder is sutured to the skin between the anus and the scrotum. This provides a new opening through which the cat can urinate.
Interesting Fact: After the surgery to clear his urinary track, Kahn is now anatomically more like a female.
With your help we can help cover Kahn’s medical costs and allow our medical staff to continue saving lives.
