Volunteer
Volunteers at The Winnipeg Humane Society are special people who generously give their time tomake a difference in the lives of homeless animals. In order to volunteer you must be:
- At least 16 years of age or older
- Able to make a commitment to The WHS for 6 months
- Able to work independently
- Committed to the protection and care of animals
- Able to work positively with other people
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer you must first attend a volunteer information session where you will learn about the many volunteer positions, information about time commitments, and go on a tour of the shelter. The latest info session dates can be found here.
