Shelter Tours
The education team offers shelter tours for children, youth and community groups. As a not for profit organization, The Winnipeg Humane Society relies on the support of our community to continue operating the animal shelter and providing services and programs. A tour is a terrific opportunity for children and youth in our community to see the result of this support and to learn more about the role of pets in our lives and the role of The WHS in our communty.Tours can be scheduled between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday to Friday during July and August. Each tour includes an educational component. The tour and educational program have a duration of about 1 1/2 hours.
The tour fee is $25. A receipt will be issued.
