Sustainability Presentation
The Winnipeg Humane Society's Education Team presents "Animal Agriculture, the Environment and Future Sustainability".Are you interested in stimulating your students to think about where our food comes from, how its production is connected to clean water, fresh air and how each one of us influences this through our personal choices?
This Winnipeg Humane Society presentation touches on animal welfare, environmental concerns and sustainability issues for agriculture in Manitoba. Its goal is to encourage students to learn more about animal agriculture and conventional production systems as well as options for the future and what is happening around the world in these areas.
This presentation would be suitable for students from grade 9-12.
