To help you in your quest to eat more humane and sustainable food, The Winnipeg Humane Society has teamed up with Local Food Plus (LFP), an established, non-profit, food certification organization. Local Food Plus uses a system of standards that ensure their certified foods have been grown or raised using humane, sustainable methods.
The following Manitoba farmers have been certified through LFP to ensure their products live up to standards approved by both your family and The Winnipeg Humane Society.
