Angela Tucker

AngelaPicAngela’s passion for nutrition began many years ago through her compassionate decision to become vegetarian and then vegan. Pursuing a career as a Registered Dietitian seemed like a natural fit as she gravitated towards a path of studying nutrition science out of pure interest. The most rewarding part of Angela’s profession is supporting individuals and helping improve their lives through healthy eating and lifestyle changes.

Angela lives in rural Manitoba and in her spare time she enjoys gardening, reading books, cooking yummy vegan food, practicing yoga, painting, spending time with family, or working on her blog www.prairiesprout.com.

Kayla Whitehurst

KaylaPhotoKayla was probably the pickiest eater in the world until she became a vegetarian nearly 10 years ago. This new lifestyle gave her the opportunity to try a variety of foods she had never eaten before and she began a new love affair with food. During her studies, Kayla completed her transition to veganism and hasn’t looked back since. Kayla lives and works in Winnipeg, and loves spending her free time reading or playing with her dog, Bailey.
