Used Book and Movie Sale

Just like you, Mary likes to curl up with (or on top of) a good book. She's a real page-turner too...

Pets love to sit back and relax with us when we sit down to read a book or tilt our head back and listen to some good music. So how about restocking your book, music and movie collection with us? Start by attending The Winnipeg Humane Society's 3rd annual Used Book and Movie Sale! We need to get ready for it first though. Here's how you can help!

Starting on Monday, January 30, please drop off* your gently used books, music, and movies at The Winnipeg Humane Society's front reception desk.
Drop off these items until Thursday, February 16 and then join us on:

*we will only accept audio tapes, CD's, VHS, DVD's, Blu-ray, Xbox, Playstation, and Wii as long as they are in good condition.

Sale Dates

Sunday, February 19 and Monday, February 20  from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at The Winnipeg Humane Society (45 Hurst Way). Parking available on both the west and east side of the shelter. CASH ONLY PLEASE!

*Non-accepted Items

Help us with the sorting process so we can present the best possible sale to raise money for the animals in our community. Please see the following list of items we cannot accept when making a donation to the sale:

• textbooks
• Reader's Digest
• Time Life series
• magazines or instruction manuals of any type
• dictionaries, thesaurus, or encyclopedias
• former library books
• blank VHS or television recorded movies
• books that are marked, with torn covers, broken spines, or missing pages
